The main attraction of the organisation is the ultra low premium for our
Public Liability Insurance offered to members that join the organisation.
All memberships including the Public Liability Premium start on June 1st in any year and is valid to the 31st of May in the following year.
The current cost of the PLI premium inc. membership of B.D.J.O. is £85.00 for a minimum cover of 5 million.
If you join on or after the 1st of January in any one year the premium is reduced to just £42.50 and is valid to the 31st of May in that same year.
You will then be invited by the chairman to renew your membership and PLI during May of the same year.
Many venues including Hotels, Leasure Complexes & most Public Buildings under your local authority now require entertainers to show evidence of PLI and in addition evidence of Portable Appliance Testing certification for the equipment you are employing at the venue.
In addition to the benefit of PLI all our members have access to a wealth of both technical & legal advice base on many years experience in the business.
